John has been a member of the Universal Drywall team for over twenty years, leading our estimating and project management operations.

John brings extensive experience in commercial and healthcare construction with over forty-five years of total experience in the construction industry. He holds his B.S. in Construction Management from Michigan State University, his M.S. in Construction Management from Florida International University, and his Florida GC License.

Outside of his role at Universal, John enjoys traveling to new places and exploring different climates.

Ron has been a member of the Universal Drywall team for over thirty-four years, leading our healthcare operations team. He specializes in healthcare facility repairs and renovations, including emergency work, EIFS, stucco, acoustical ceiling systems, firestopping penetrations, wall protection, and life safety upgrades on rated wall partitions. He also specializes in door and frame repairs, and containment for Infection Control Risk Assessment standards (ICRA). His construction career has spanned numerous roles, working his way up from a foreman, to superintendent, to project management and estimating.

Prior to his role at Universal, Ron spent eleven years in marine boat construction as a manufacturing engineer, including testing and quality control on 28' to 58' vessels at Bertram Yacht.

Outside of his role at Universal, Ron enjoys family time with his three children and seven grandchildren. He also loves traveling on cruise ships, attending car shows, rebuilding his vintage Corvette, and go-kart track racing.

Carlos has been a member of the Universal Drywall team for two years, and brings twenty-three years of experience in commercial drywall framing and acoustical ceiling systems. He specializes in healthcare and large commercial projects such as airports, cruise terminals, stadiums, and universities.

Prior to his role at Universal, Carlos spent fifteen years as a project manager and division manager at Acousti Engineering Company, as well as six years as a senior project manager at Southmost Drywall.

Outside of his role at Universal, Carlos enjoys spending time with his wife and family, participating in church community activities, and playing pickleball.

John has been a member of the Universal Drywall team for five years, specializing in estimating and managing both commercial and healthcare projects. In addition to his role in project management, John also serves as our in-house graphic design and photography expert, contributing to Universal's marketing materials and logos.

Prior to his role at Universal, John spent fifteen years in the hospitality industry, and holds his Bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida.

Outside of his role at Universal, John is an avid whiskey collector, artist, and musician.

Chuck has been a member of the Universal Drywall team for ten years, overseeing all safety-related tasks for the company. In addition to his responsibilities of creating and maintaining safety plans, SDS, and inspecting each job site, he is an OSHA-authorized outreach trainer and oversees all company training. Chuck has ten years of experience in construction safety oversight, eight years in aerial lifts instruction, four years as an OSHA Authorized Outreach Instructor, and two years as a project administration assistant.

Prior to his current role at Universal, Chuck worked with the Seminole Tribe of Florida, and spent three years serving as a missionary in the Bahamas. Prior to these roles, Chuck held various roles at Universal since high school before re-joining in his current role.

Outside of his role at Universal, Chuck enjoys visiting theme parks, volunteering, and traveling.

Chuck has been a member of the Universal Drywall team for the past thirty years, including oversight of both residential and commercial projects throughout his career. His experience spans both interior and exterior framing and hanging, Sto systems, Hilti fire stopping, acoustical ceiling systems, and stucco systems. In addition, he has over fifteen years of experience as a mechanic, fifteen years as a lather, and over forty years working in health care facilities.

Prior to his role at Universal, Chuck worked for Ralph-Martin as a foreman for three years, and as a lead mechanic for ten years prior to his promotion.

Outside of his role at Universal, Chuck enjoys the great outdoors, camping, hiking, and white-water rafting, as well as visiting national parks. He is also the proud grandpa to four amazing grandkids, and spends as much time as possible with them.

Rick has been a member of the Universal Drywall team for thirty-four years, supervising healthcare, commercial, and education jobs in the Palm Beach region. He serves as a valued mentor for up-and-coming superintendents across the organization. Rick brings forty-four years of experience as a superintendent, as well as ten years working with drywall hanging, metal stud framing, and acoustical ceilings from California to Florida.

Prior to his role at Universal, Rick held roles at Lotspeich Fort Lauderdale for fourteen years.

Outside of his role at Universal, Rick enjoys playing golf throughout Florida.

Gustavo has been a member of the Universal Drywall team for eleven years, specializing in the supervision of drywall, metal framing, ceilings, soffits, and wall protection in healthcare and commercial projects across South Florida. He has extensive experience in hospital compliance, ICRA requirements, layout coordination, acoustical ceiling systems, and high-quality drywall finishing. Gustavo brings a total of twenty-one years of experience in drywall, framing, and finishing, as well as eleven years of experience supervising commercial and healthcare construction projects.

Prior to his role at Universal, Gustavo spent several years as a drywall installer, gaining hands-on experience in framing across commercial and residential projects.

Outside of his role at Universal, Gustavo enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and outdoor activities.

Roberto has been a member of the Universal Drywall team for thirty years, and serves as our lead superintendent for Memorial Healthcare System projects. He specializes in supervising healthcare jobsites across the South Florida region, including high-priority emergency work.

Roberto brings many years of experience in finishing, firestop technician work, and supervising both commercial and healthcare jobs. In addition to his construction experience, Roberto is state-licensed in mold remediation.

Outside of his role at Universal, Roberto enjoys a good barbecue and traveling.

Rickey has been with the Universal Drywall team for over forty years, and has spent his career with the team since high school. Rickey is our resident stucco and EIFS expert, with thirty years of stucco experience, twenty-five years of EIFS and Sto experience, and ten years as an exterior finish supervisor. In addition to stucco, EIFS, and Sto, he specializes in direct applied finishes, veneer plaster, and drywall finishing.

Outside of his role at Universal, Rickey enjoys barbecuing, fishing, and spending time with his four grandchildren. The team is always excited when Rickey brings his legendary brisket to the office.

Jaime has been a member of the Universal Drywall team for fifteen years, most recently as a Superintendent specializing in drywall framing, installation, and layout. He brings valuable experience in both commercial and residential construction, with a focus on team leadership as well as ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. He has worked on a wide variety of commercial projects, including hospitals, casinos, high-rise buildings, educational facilities, and municipal facilities.

Prior to his role at Universal Drywall, Jaime worked as a carpenter and team lead for his family's J&J Drywall, where he worked his way up through the levels on projects with Universal prior to joining our team.

Outside of his role at Universal, Jaime loves to spend time with his friends and family of six, and is a huge fan of the 49ers.

Myesha has been a member of the Universal Drywall team for over seven years, managing accounts receivable, client relationships, invoicing, collections, and reporting. She plays a key role in managing the project lifecycle, working with our project management team on job documentation, compliance, monitoring, and closeout on a variety of project types. Her experience includes commercial construction, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and commercial tenant improvements. Myesha also works closely with Universal's business partners and subcontractors to help ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and lien waiver tracking.

Prior to her role at Universal, Myesha held roles as an HR Manager in the logistics industry for four years, as well as seven years in payroll and compliance with the Florida Department of Transportation.

Outside of her role at Universal, Myesha enjoys spending time with her family and friends, staying organized, and participating in activities that help her recharge. She is also famous for her delicious cheesecake jars.

Janice has been a member of the Universal Drywall team for two years, managing accounts payable processes and front desk operations. She brings eight years of experience in administrative roles, as well as six years in project management. At Universal, she supports projects across the company by ensuring invoices are accurately processed, reviewed, and approved in a timely manner. Janice also helps Universal maintain strong vendor relationships as she assists with day-to-day administrative coordination to keep our operations running smoothly.

Prior to her role at Universal, Janice held roles in procurement and project management within both the supply chain and hospitality industries. She worked with companies such as Subway and The Parker Company, where she supported operations, vendor coordination, and project execution.

Outside of her role at Universal, Janice enjoys trying new restaurants, visiting farmer's markets, and spending time with her energetic puppy, Uzi.

Julie joined the Universal Drywall team in April of 2025, and oversees the organization's finance and accounting-related operations. Julie is a licensed CPA as well as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and holds her M.S. in Accountancy from Wake Forest University. She brings over fifteen years of experience across auditing, accounting, and related disciplines, and is excited to bring that experience to the construction industry.

Prior to her role at Universal, Julie spent fifteen years in the financial services industry with roles spanning data analytics, audit project management, risk assessments, system administration, and executive-level Board reporting. She has worked with several top U.S. financial institutions, including JPMorgan Chase, First Republic Bank, and BB&T (Truist).

Outside of her role at Universal, Julie enjoys competing in distance running events from the 5K to the marathon. She recently placed third in the 2025 Capital City Half Marathon (Ohio) and second in the 2026 USATF Florida Association 5K Championships.
